Hiya!
Today around this very time, marks the ONE MONTH anniversary of the release of my debut book, UPON BLUE MOUNTAIN. For all the words I know...there are none good enough to express my joy, and sincere gratitude for those who have helped me succeed.
Writing a novel is challenging itself, but I never thought the task of self-publishing would be quite as difficult, and frightening. Having no idea on what to do, and relying on the internet only added to the fear. But through heavy research, and the help of two magnificent women, my dream was able to successfully come true.
If there is ever a chance these women read my post, I want to make it known who they are.
First is Fiona Jayde of Fiona Jayde Media, who designed my amazing cover page. Her design brought my story to life, and seeing my name across the top of the cover was more than humbling. Along our journey together, she helped me better understand the self-publishing process, and for all her work I am grateful.
Second is Tamara Cribley, of The Deliberate Page, who crafted my eBook and paperback format. I had no idea where to start with the layout of my book, and her ideas were wonderful. Tamara guided me all along the way, and I felt as if I had someone on the inside, showing me exactly what to do.
To both of these women, I salute you with respect.
With one month under my belt, I feel determined, and I am ready to face every month as it comes.
